We are committed to creating systems that preserve the properties of food with the same care with which we choose the materials used for our production and with which we protect the resources of our land, which nourishes us all and which we intend to nourish in turn.
Environmental sustainability has always been a fundamental factor in our decisions, and we are committed to implementing all necessary processes to ensure that our increasingly efficient technologies and services simultaneously protect the planet’s natural resources and future generations.
Not just energy impact: the design of the spaces also considered comfort, natural light, silence, and widespread well-being, thus promoting the regeneration of people as well.
Our approach goes far beyond the purely technical aspect.
During the design phase, we involve every department of the client company—from the warehouse to production, from the technical office to purchasing and marketing—to ensure that each system is future-proofed.
One of our strengths is revamping, a practice that allows us to give new life to systems that would otherwise be decommissioned, extending their useful life indefinitely: many of our systems installed 30 years ago are still fully efficient.
The goal is to provide turnkey solutions that address every aspect—from storage to dosing, from conveying to automation—in an integrated and holistic manner. This approach ensures effective customization and exceptional system durability.
Our method allows us to achieve two fundamental objectives:
FUTURE NEEDS
Circularity is one of the cornerstones of CEPI production. We adopted the Material Circularity Indicator (MCI) developed by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, achieving a circularity index of 0.71. This significant result reflects our commitment to an increasingly sustainable and measurable production model.
In 2022, despite the challenges of sourcing recycled steel, we secured a significant share of reusable materials. We will continue to analyze incoming and outgoing flows to further improve environmental performance.
We design reusable, durable, and upgradeable systems, with an average lifespan of 30 years. Modularity, versatility, and energy efficiency are at the heart of our approach.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
We manufacture most components in-house to ensure a short supply chain, direct control, and maximum customization. We only work with suppliers who share our values of responsibility and sustainability.
Our goal is to generate a positive impact throughout the entire life cycle of the plants.
Since 1985, CEPI has been designing integrated solutions for industry, combining passion, innovation and sustainability.
