Blu Donna 2023

On Wednesday 22 November, in the premises of the Paolo Babini Cooperative in Forlì, we met for the presentation of the Blu Donna 2023 program, a parallel welfare program for CEPI’s female employees active since 2019, in an evening with many moments of discussion, reflection and dialogue. The photograph of this historical moment stimulates us to act urgently. Even with speech, visibility and participation: fundamental factors that have had and continue to have a real impact on women’s lives.

Sourdough: healthy and fragrant products with long shelf life

Sourdough is a mixture of water and flour fermented by a set of microorganisms including lactic and acid bacteria and yeast, which are naturally found in the flour. Sourdough bread is tastier, more fragrant and healthier. Easy to digest and with a high nutritional value, it achieves a long-shelf life without preservatives, meeting the increasing demand for food manufactured through processes that preserve and enhance the natural properties of its ingredients.

The 5 Ps of CEPI

Doing good by People and by the Planet with Partnership, Prosperity and Peace: the values at the root of the 5 Ps have always been part of our ethos. Through our history, we have always sought to create the best working conditions for our employees, to reduce the footprint of our operations and to have a positive impact on our community. At the heart of our Ethics Code are these five principles, which align perfectly with the the goals of the 2030 agenda, and which we retold in the context of our story and everyday work.

Pareto, efficiency, and enthusiasm

We had the pleasure of chatting with Sandra Ceccarelli, our CFO. Sandra confided that, during a short but regenerating summer break, she had the opportunity to approach some “numerical” reflections and thoughts. “I like numbers because they are democratic,” Sandra confides, “so, I returned to the Pareto Principle.”

The dosing of raw materials: CEPI’s method

Designing a dosing system is a complex process that requires a close analysis of the customer’s processes. With repeatability, traceability and precision in mind, detailed information is needed about raw materials and consumptions, building evaluation, humidity and temperature effect, cross contamination and sustainability. The customer’s experience during this process is rarely discussed but for a project to be successful, the ability to fully involve them before and during planning is fundamental. tracciabilità e gestione del magazzino.
