On 25 September 2015, the 193 UN member countries adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Agenda has been in force since 2016, with 17 Sustainable Development Goals as the new global reference framework for the member states of the UN, all declaring themselves willing and able to achieve these goals together by 2030.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are associated with 169 sub-goals that are grouped into five fundamental principles: people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnership. CEPI’s Ethics Code has been built around these 5 Ps of Sustainable Development. We have thought about what they mean for CEPI, and these values will be the foundation of the path we are undertaking to do our part in this great effort. We hope you will join us.
