The spring edition of Blu Donna took place on 18 April, in Villaggio Mafalda, in Cooperativa Sociale Paolo Babini, Blu Donna is the parallel welfare program for CEPI’s female employees, created in 2019 by Sandra Ceccarelli and Stefania Montalti, and always coordinated by Corinna Crippa, CEPI Welfare Manager for the Social Welfare service of Consorzio di Solidarietà Sociale.

Blu Donna is, above all, a moment of conviviality, taking care of ourselves and sharing stories and experiences: a moment in which bonds between colleagues are strengthened.

From 2023 the project expands within METALLI NASCOSTI, the program for gender equality in CEPI which, among other things, includes evenings dedicated to socialization and dialogue. The evening of April 18th saw our “Metalmeccaniche” as protagonists, brought together for a moment of discussion and growth, both personal and collective.

The evening began with an aperitif based on the aromatic Insolite Essenze gin from the social enterprise CavaRei. The Insolite Essenze project involves people with fragility in the Forlì area thanks to the cultivation of aromatic herbs in the organic soil of San Leonardo in Schiova, thus creating employment opportunities and promoting work and social inclusion.

Between chatter and laughter, the aperitif created a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. Following this, a tasty dinner prepared by the chef of Villaggio Mafalda, Luigi, delighted our palates. Finally, a tasting of the Amaro Insolite Essenze, also by CavaRei.

After dinner, an interactive workshop was held under the guidance of Corinna Crippa. The participants engaged in a round table discussion on gender stereotypes in advertising spots. Through a moment of comparison and reasoning on the words, they explored the subliminal messages of the commercials, bringing out their own points of view: it was a truly interesting moment, a real starting point to open a collective reflection on gender stereotypes, on work and outside.

This event is part of the broader context of CEPI’s gender equality program, which aims to promote equality and fight any discrimination to build an increasingly inclusive and respectful working environment.

In conclusion, this evening left an indelible mark on us: for this we must say thank you to the women of CEPI, who contributed to weaving the canvas of a more equal and inclusive future. See you next appointment!
