On September 20 and September 28, CEPI held a comprehensive training course on the Machinery Directive in the framework of its national and European context.
The course, funded through Fondimpresa and in collaboration with Techne Forlì-Cesena, involved the Production, Design, Project Management and Quality areas in order to describe in depth the figure of the manufacturer and the obligations connected to it, covering the developments related to Industry 4.0 and the new Machinery Regulations.
The Machinery Directive defines the Essential Safety Requirements identified by the European Union that machines must meet before they are placed on the market, with the aim of safeguarding the safety and health of their users. CEPI carries out constant research to ensure safety in our installations, in order to design and manufacture machines whose use is accessible and comfortable for the operator.
The equipment produced in CEPI is compliant with the ATEX Directive 2014/34 /EU and the Machinery Directive 2006/42 /EC and other applicable international directives and regulations, and our steel and stainless steel structures are produced in a certified controlled supply chain according to the international standard UNI EN 1090-1 and UNI-EN 1090-2. You can find all the information on the hygiene and safety of our installation in the relevant section of our Ethics Code.
