March 8: rather than a festivity, for us it is an appointment, urging us every year yes to celebrate women’s progress of women, but most especially to identify the steps we still need to take to achieve the global emancipation of all women and girls.

And so, this the thought we want to share today: as many women in CEPI have told us these past few days, the commitment to gender equality must go beyond March, and it is beyond March that we want to extend our work. We honor this important day precisely because it pushes us to reflect on the past to build the future. During this month, we will begin to share with you the initiatives of Metalli Nascosti, the CEPI program for gender equality, talking to you about the actions we have implemented in terms of governance, training, dialogue and collaborations with our partners in the area.

And it is with a beautiful collaboration that we want to start: to celebrate CEPI’s female workers, we have chosen the mimosas of the Romagna Oncology Institute, which help donating wigs and ensuring psychological support and closeness to cancer patients. Thanks to IOR for the fantastic initiative, and thanks to all the women in CEPI for their continuous commitment, and for the great contribution they have given to the growth of CEPI in all these years.
