On Tuesday 23 April, in the CEPI Food Room, all employees were invited to participate in a meeting with the Forlì’s Women’s Centre, organized during a union meeting thanks to the coordination of CGIL.

During this event, the representatives of the Center spoke about gendered violence in all its facets, describing the most common causes and dynamics, and sharing tools to support women victims of violence. The Women’s Center is a free service offered by the Municipality of Forlì. Its mission is to support, welcome and accompany women in choosing paths aimed at social, economic and professional autonomy. This service is of fundamental importance for women seeking support and resources to deal with difficult situations related to gender violence.

During the meeting, among other things, various tools and resources available at the Women’s Center were presented:

  • Psychological support: the Centre’s psychologists offer advice and emotional support to women who need it.

  • Legal assistance: The Center provides legal information and guidance on legal issues related to gendered violence.

  • Training and job placement paths: the Center helps women develop professional skills and find job opportunities.

  • Support network: Representatives of the Center highlighted the importance of creating a support network among women, so that they can share experiences and resources.
