In this interview with Familybiz Magazine, Sandra talks about technology, research and sustainability, touching on topics such as generational change and the balance between structure and flexibility.
CEPI is a company with a peculiar history. Can you tell the most salient episodes?
It was born in 1985 from the encounter between an engineer and a manufacturer and from inception, it was not just a company but a factory of ideas, focused on technology and innovation. The four founding partners share Apennine roots, creating a strong shared bond with the territory, which has taken root in the corporate culture over the years. The deep sense of belonging of the employees makes CEPI stronger both as a company and as a team. It is the result of an explicit goal of building mutual loyalty and of the values that have underpinned our choices from the outset. All this is the result of the story of those who founded CEPI, with their peasant roots and a past of emigration behind them. Their work experience in foreign markets has allowed them to look to Europe, with Italy and France as the first reference markets of equal importance. CEPI has created a relational model that looks beyond national borders and wants to foster collaborative relationships and mutual growth. Over the years, thanks to this approach, we have built a solid network of commercial partners with countless collaborators in the five continents.
